PHOENICE was at the FKFS 23rd Stuttgart International Symposium this week to present its research results about the development of a Digital Twin to support the calibration of the PHOENICE engine.
This work notably made it possible to achieve a maximum gross indicated thermal efficiency of about 47% thanks to a preliminary engine virtual calibration focused on the optimization of the intake valves strategy.
